abcThe Acoustic Blues Company is an idea of Argentine guitarist Hernán Senra, also known as “Chino”. The project was born in 2005 in Barcelona, with the intention of enjoying, interpreting and presenting a musical style of an immeasurable wealth that is the root of popular music of the 20th century … the Acoustic Blues.

Since its beginnings the group has appeared in countless venues and spaces, among which we can highlight, Cerdanyola Blues Festival, Hospitalet Blues and Boogie Cycle, Blues Picnic 2008, Harlem Jazz Club, Honky Tonk Blues Bar, Big Bang Oldies Bar, Nit of Capibola, Playa Viva Blues Festival, etc….

In his shows have participated musicians like Ivan Kovacevic, Blas Picón, Victor Puertas, Pere Puertas, Bernat Font, Mingo Balaguer, Albert Bello, Manolo German, Tota, Rod Deville, etc…

The repertoire is composed of original and classic songs by artists like Muddy Waters, Leadbelly, Brownie Mc Ghee, Robert Johnson, Jimmy Rogers, John Hurt Mississippi, Blind Willie Mc Tell, Jimmy Reed, Junior Parker, Louis Jordan, Willie Dixon, Lou Prima , etc…

In January 2010 the band recorded their first album “CHINO & THE ACOUSTIC BLUES COMPANY” with Rod Deville on bass, Victor Puertas on the harmonica, Marti Elias on drums, Bernat Font on piano and Chinese on vocals, slide guitar and ukulele…
